This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $61,000 - $89,000 annually depending on job-related factors such as level of experience.

We are looking for a Credit Advisor in San Diego, CA .
Essential Functions:
- Coaches and advises the bank's credit and lending staff on effective credit analysis procedures and techniques and how an effective credit process helps ensure a successful sales environment.
- Reviews the bank's credit risks and recommends corrective action. Creates problem credit reports for multiple lending locations.
- Develops effective credit procedures to minimize the bank's credit risk. Conducts credit audits to ensure effective credit procedures are being practiced throughout the bank.
- Conducts formal training sessions to share the best credit practices and techniques.
- While the majority of the time is spent training and coaching, may also answer complex or specialized credit inquiries from internal staff throughout the bank, conduct credit investigations, as needed, for unique, highly complex, or specialized market segments and accompany lenders on business calls for high profile customers.
- Performs special projects as assigned.
- Requires a Bachelors in Finance, Business or a related field and 2 years of credit analysis, credit, lending, banking or other directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet job requirements.
- Basic knowledge and application of commercial credit principles, theories, and concepts in applicable discipline, plus extensive working knowledge of other related fields.
- Extensive knowledge of financial and spread analysis and credit/lending procedures for very complex loans.
- Solid problem resolution, analysis and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to train and coach lending staff.
- Ability to make sound decisions. PC skill required.
