California Baptist University invites applicants for a a Full-Time Remote Instructor in Research Methods. Pay Range
The compensation for this appointment will range from $70,000 – $75,000 annually and reflects what California Baptist University reasonably expects to pay for this faculty appointment. Actual compensation may vary based on the qualifications and experience of the applicant, as well as market conditions. In addition to wages, CBU offers a robust suite of employee benefits.
Qualifications
This remote Instructor position is a full-time, non-tenure track faculty role with a load expectation of 36 units in a 12-month period (typically 12 units per semester in Fall, Spring, and Summer).
Successful candidates should possess a terminal degree related to the field, although candidates with a master’s degree who are working toward a terminal degree, or have significant experience in the field, may be considered. Strong candidates will demonstrate confirmation of teaching effectiveness and exceptional oral and written communication skills. Faculty duties include teaching graduate courses in Research Methods.

This position involves teaching graduate courses in research, including doctoral-level courses in Research Design, Data Analysis and Interpretation, and both Quantitative and Qualitative Research.
In addition, prior teaching experience at the college level (preferably online) is required. Extensive experience with Blackboard LMS is also preferred.
Additional administrative duties may include acting as course lead for all research courses, maintaining and updating course templates and syllabi, ordering textbooks, and leading course assessment. This person will work closely with multiple doctoral programs across the University.
This is a remote position and does not require a local (Southern California) presence.
