We are currently hiring a kitchen manager, cooks, bakers, baristas, and cashiers. We offer flexible schedules and shifts starting at 3am, 5am, 7am, 9am, 12pm, 1pm, and 5pm. There is always a shift to fit your schedule.

Barista is a customer-oriented professional responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other beverages per California Bun menu and recipes. The role of a Barista goes beyond simply making drinks; it involves providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and contributing to the overall ambiance of the establishment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and drip coffee.
• Prepare and serve various tea blends and other non-coffee beverages.
• Accurately measure, grind, and brew coffee beans to meet quality standards.
• Create attractive and consistent latte art designs where applicable.
• Operate espresso machines, coffee grinders, and other coffee-related equipment.
• Ensure all equipment is clean, well-maintained, and in good working order.
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures when handling equipment and ingredients.
• Maintain inventory of coffee beans, teas, syrups, and other beverage ingredients.
• Ensure proper storage and rotation of perishable items to minimize waste.
• Monitor and restock supplies as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role is preferred.
• Knowledge of coffee and espresso preparation techniques is preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
• Knowledge of safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 24 per week
