Position Overview: Production Manager
We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented, and proactive Production Manager to oversee the daily operations of our shop. This role is responsible for managing production workflows, maintaining quality standards, supervising shop personnel, and ensuring timely completion of projects. The Production Manager plays a critical role in driving efficiency and excellence in our manufacturing process while upholding the high-quality standards California Closets is known for. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility required based on production needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee Daily Shop Operations: Plan, prioritize, and manage production schedules to ensure on-time delivery of projects.
- Personnel Management: Supervise, mentor, and provide direction to shop employees, fostering a safe and productive work environment.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain strict quality control standards to ensure all products meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring materials are ordered and available to meet production demands.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all shop equipment is maintained, calibrated, and functioning efficiently, scheduling repairs or replacements as needed.
- Workflow Optimization: Continuously assess and improve production processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce workplace safety regulations and best practices to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaboration: Work closely with designers, installers, and the management team to align production schedules with project timelines and customer requirements.

Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
