Summary
The Inventory Clerk at CCS plays a crucial role in maintaining accurate records of inventory levels and ensuring seamless operations in the design, installation, and service of low voltage security solutions. Duties and Responsibilities
· Assist in shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, and checking in merchandise.
· Assist in the procurement of merchandise for stock and projects.
· Track incoming and outgoing job specific products, inspecting and documenting returned merchandise.
· Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat.
· Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
· Perform on-going cycle counts to ensure stock count accuracy.
· Maintain and reconcile stock count accuracy (digital and physical).
· Update databases with detailed records of inventory movements and costs.
· Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently.
· Perform routine inventory counts of fleet vehicles.
· Dispose of obsolete inventory and recyclables as directed by the supervisor.
· Process daily inside sales requests, and ship products to customers.
· Collaborate with procurement staff and communicate regularly with the Inventory Specialist to coordinate tasks.
· Contribute suggestions for operational efficiencies and warehouse organization.
· Participate in periodic safety committee meetings.

Qualifications
· Great written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
· Strong organizational and logistics skills.
· Attention to detail and critical thinking abilities.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
· Ability to use computers and standard office equipment.
· Experience in product and inventory management preferred, not required.
· Minimum of 1-2 years of warehouse or inventory management experience preferred, not required.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, on-site position. Hours may vary to ensure that eight-hour shifts are covered in the warehouse. Days and hours of work are generally Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Occasional evening work may be required as job duties demand.
Work Environment
This job operates in both a warehouse and professional office environment. The role involves frequent use of standard office equipment and occasional exposure to environmental factors such as dust, fumes, and noise.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
· Stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach.
· Lift and carry items up to 40 pounds.
· Driving a motor vehicle.
