Overview :
The Systems Engineer will assist the government in all aspects of the Systems Engineering (SE) lifecycle for a high-visibility program that fosters collaboration between multiple Intelligence Community (IC) partners. The role involves providing professional engineering services to government portfolio managers across the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout phases of complex engineering projects supporting CNO and similar organizations.
Responsibilities :
- Analyze user requirements, CONOPS, and high-level system architecture to develop system requirements and specifications.
- Analyze system requirements and lead design and development activities.
- Document end-to-end system requirements.
- Guide users in formulating requirements, advise on alternative approaches and conduct feasibility studies.
- Provide technical leadership for integrating requirements, design, and technology across customer spaces, including collaborating with different vendors.
- Engineer innovative solutions for data management and integration with existing and prototype systems.
- Incorporate new plans, designs, and systems into existing frameworks.
- Develop system architecture and guide system development.
- Prepare operational planning documents for potential targets of interest.
- Interact with government customers, maintaining and managing technical integrity.
Qualifications :
20 years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity within the Federal Government.
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline.
