Overview of Position :
We are seeking a Senior Voice Engineer to identify and resolve performance issues and be responsible for all troubleshooting, repairing / replacing, configuring, monitoring, and upgrading of the network on both unclassified and classified systems. This position is on-site and mission essential.
Job Responsibilities :
- Responsible for implementation and technical support of Cisco Unified Communications related technologies.
- 2nd and 3rd level support of existing systems.
- Provide installation, transition, and cutover of components of the systems.
- Provide all maintenance and documentation of ground equipment and systems on a scheduled and unscheduled basis.
- Test and Integration.
- Gather trend analysis data on systems and provide input for resource planning.
- Provide real-time usable statistics to aid with troubleshooting.
- Upgrades to all supported VoIP / UC systems.
- Monitoring of Managed Services UC customers via 3rd party network monitoring software.
- Review work / installation progress for accuracy, adherence to network design, and conformance to telecommunications standards.
- Perform other Voice technology-related duties as assigned.
