Role Overview
California Custom Fruits and Flavors is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team. Maintenance Technicians are a critical part of how we can produce our products.
Daily Tasks
- Complete and update preventative maintenance tasks.
- Fabricate new equipment as necessary.
- Repair broken equipment promptly.
- Maintain boiler feed water chemical balance and boiler breakdowns.
- Oversee contractors on site when professional repairs are needed.
- Perform minor repairs as requested.
- Test functionality of facility safety systems.
What You Need to Succeed
- PPE: Steel-toed slip resistant leather boots and lift belt required.
- Ability to stand or walk for 8 hours.
- Bending/Flexing/Extending
- Frequently grip, reach, lift, or pull with both hands.
- Ability to lift 45lbs consistently.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Detail oriented and follow instruction without fail.
- Experience with welding.
