Role Overview
California Custom Fruits and Flavors is seeking a Sanitation Technician to join our team. Sanitation Technicians are a critical part of how we can produce our products.
Daily Tasks
- Remove stickers, lids, and orange O ring under lids.
- Pre rinse inside and put onto CIP skid for further cleaning.
- Cleanse inside of liquivators and all cook kettles.
- Follows process for Boil Out Procedures.
- Clean cook deck and underneath of liquidator platform.
- Cleaning overhead pipes, floors, and removal of down spouts from kettles.
- Brush off equipment, walls, ceiling, sweeping, and mopping floors.
- Clean BIB machine, fruit slicer, buckets, floors, and dump area.
- Clean sink and empty trash.
What You Need to Succeed
- PPE: Steel-toed slip resistant rubber boots and lift belt required.
- Ability to stand or walk for 8 hours.
- Bending/Flexing/Extending
- Frequently grip, reach, lift, or pull with both hands.
- Ability to lift 45lbs consistently.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Detail oriented and follow instruction without fail.
