Job Summary
The Director of Treasury is responsible for providing treasury operational leadership by delivering essential corporate services related to cash flow, borrowings, debt, oversight of cash management, and oversight of processes to improve the accuracy of cash flow forecasting. A key component of this position will be structuring and developing the treasure function and team at CDI. This position will also manage relationships with financial institutions, the company’s insurance portfolio, while building partnerships and alignment with key functions within the Company.
Essential Functions
- Ensure successful outcomes of essential corporate treasury services, including wires, account funding, cash concentration, and cash flow forecasting.
- Ensure adherence to Treasury's key compliance, documentation, and regulatory reporting requirements through the design of policies, authorizations, procedures, and strong internal controls.
- Identify cybersecurity and fraud risks within Treasury processes and implement mitigation strategies as appropriate.
- Partner with 3rd party audit firms on all internal and external Treasury Department related audits.
- Lead negotiation with banks and financial institutions on financing structures including but not limited to debt financing, SIP products, account receivable factoring, equipment leases, etc.
- Provide insight on evaluating and implementing new bank technologies, products, and services to improve cash cycle and simplify company operations.
- Perform, monitor, and track various compliance and covenant reporting requirements of existing credit facilities.
- Develop, implement and maintain bank account structures.
- Oversee company credit card and debit card programs, including collections, fees, and related analysis.
- Manage all insurance policies and renewals as the primary point of contact for the company’s Insurance Broker. Does not include employee Health & Welfare insurance policies.
- Provide support and collaborate with risk management team around activities including, but not limited to, dairy commodities, interest rates, natural gas, and electricity and identify additional opportunities to manage market/commodity risk.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position provides leadership and has direct supervisory responsibility for the Treasury Manager and Treasury Accountants.

Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Accounting or Finance is required; MBA and/or CPA is preferred.
- 10 years of relevant experience in treasury, finance, or banking is required.
- 5 years of leadership and supervisory experience is required.
- Experience with risk management and commodities markets preferred
Language Skills
A well-modulated tonal volume is required with excellent diction skills needed.
Reasoning Ability
Must have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions given in written, oral, or diagram form. Must have the ability to discern when issues may require input from levels of authority within the corporation.
