The Office of Victim and Suvivor Rights and Services encourages a hybrid workplace model that is designed to support a distributed workforce of both remote and office-centered telework. This position is eligible for a hybrid telework schedule for employees who can satisfactorily perform their essential work functions independently and remotely. Specific telework schedules may be discussed further during the interview process. Telework is only available to residents of California.
This is a non-testing classification, therefore anyone meeting the minimum qualifications listed on the classification specification may apply for this position. Individuals who are, or have been, a dependent child in foster care, a homeless youth, a victim of human trafficking, or a formerly incarcerated youth as defined by Government Code (GC) Section 18220are encouraged to apply and will be given priority. If you are applying under this eligibility status, please note on your application your eligibility by stating "preference under GC Section 18220." Please note that prior to appointment, individuals claiming preference under one of these categories will be required to furnish documentation establishing their eligibility. The CDCR Office of Victim and Survivor Rights and Services (HQ) offers a secured access facility, convenient regional transportation options, free parking, as well as a variety of nearby shopping locations.
The position is eligible for hybrid telework, in accordance with the Statewide Telework Policy and will be required to report to the office as needed/required. The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment.
