Your primary responsibilities include: - Ensuring all doors are locked at all times, except during passing periods. - Redirecting visitors to the main office and verifying that they are wearing appropriate visitor badges. - Greeting and assisting staff, parents, and students while actively monitoring the premises. - Reporting any significant activities near the school to administration and contacting PD if vagrants refuse to leave the area. - Remaining vigilant during passing periods and notifying administration if you need to leave your post without coverage. - Monitoring entrances, restrooms, and common areas throughout the day to ensure student safety and compliance with school policies. - Enforcing regulations regarding student behavior, including no playing in restricted areas and ensuring that students present late slips if arriving after the school day has begun. - Facilitating the safe passage of K-8 students while keeping an eye on grades 9-12. - Implementing policies related to food and drink in the building, as well as dress code violations related to inappropriate attire. - Performing surronding areas check during specified times and ensuring that students engage in safe recreational activities.
