Requirements / Qualifications
Requirements for this position: > High School Diploma or equivalent > Must have proficiency in both English and a primary language other than English as determined by the District's annual language census data in usage, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and vocabulary > Must meet ESSA requirements for Paraprofessionals via one of the following routes: ^ AA Degree; OR ^ 48 college/university semester units (grade C or better required); OR ^ Take and pass a State Mandated Proficiency Test in basic skills. ~ Test developed by CODESP and will be provided/proctored to eligible applicants by the District. ~ Study guides are available, please request one from the District Office. ~ Applicants who need to be tested will be contacted with information on the testing date, time and location. ~ Passage of CBEST will be accepted in place of the test. This is not a complete list of the required and/or preferred training, education, experience, knowledge and abilities. Please review the job description for more information.
