Under the direction of a certificated staff member, the 1:1 aide provides support for a student with behavioral needs so that they participate in the general instruction in the classroom. The 1:1 aide will provide support, monitoring, and encouragement to participate in all class activities and will report progress to the teacher and special education team. Generally help maintain order and cleanliness in the classroom. This is a part time position, depending on student participation.
