Supervising Assistant - Breakfast (3.35 hr/wk)

Under general supervision, be responsible for the children in the lunch area and on the playground during lunch recess.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervision of children and maintaining order
• Attend to the proper seating
• Duties of children according to lunch plans
• Dismiss children from lunch area to playground after immediate area has been cleaned
• Supervision of children on the playground
  
  

Qualifications

Knowledge of

• Knowledge of the general needs and behavior of children
• Rules for popular games and activities such as kickball, around the world, four square, tetherball, volleyball, softball, etc.
  
  

Ability to

• Establish/maintain effective relationships with children and understand/carry out oral and written directions
