Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level support for end users related to IT products and services.
- Resolve and respond to client incidents or requests promptly.
- Configure, move, deploy, and maintain end-user devices.
- Utilize and update service request and ticketing systems.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop and mobile applications.
- Document design specifications, installation instructions, and other system-related information.
- Troubleshoot, track, repair, and conduct root cause analysis of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, Mac OS, and iOS systems utilizing standard procedures until resolved or escalated.
- Assist with maintaining and troubleshooting Ethernet network cabling.
- Assist with troubleshooting VoIP phone issues.
- Develop and maintain Client Services documentation.
- Install or repair hardware or peripheral equipment.
- Test and deploy desktop images.
- Manage client technology asset inventories.
- Perform end-of-life assets management.
- Provide end-user training related to IT products and services provided to the Department.
- Recommend incident control/problem management process improvements.
- Other job-related duties as required.
Experience Requirement:
- Two years of general information technology experience performing technical, analytical, or support tasks for computer systems or services in any of the six domains or emerging information technology fields;
OR
- 60 semester units (or 90 quarter units) from an accredited college or university including at least 15 semester units (or 22.5 quarter units) of information technology or closely related course work;
OR
- Any equivalent combination of experience and education.
