Under the general supervision of the Codes and Standards Administrator II, the incumbent, with the Occupational Licensing (OL) Program, is a full journey level Program Technician II who independently makes licensing decisions with occasional review. The incumbent is responsible for performing the more difficult duties and assignments, which require extensive knowledge of the applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures relating to the licensing of manufacturers, distributors, dealers, salespersons, and 90-day certificate holders of MH-Units and commercial modulars, including preliminary (PE) and continuing (CE) education “approvals” for course providers and course instructors.
Under California Government Code Section 14200, this position is eligible for hybrid telework up to 1 days per week.
