Job Description And Duties
Under the general direction of the Staff Services Manager I(SSMI), the Associate Governmental Program Analyst ( AGPA) performs a variety of difficult and complex analytical administrative duties in a wide variety of consultative and analytical assignments such as program control functions as well as providing technical expertise, guidance, assistance and support to supervisors and managers in administrative and personnel matters.

The incumbent works 40 hours per week in an office setting. Air conditioned, multiple floor building with elevator access, cubicle with natural and artificial lighting. Majority of time will be in the DAS Headquarters or other locations throughout California as needed, may be required to work out of home if provided with proper office equipment; Typical office tools include (but not limited to)computer, printer/copy/scan/fax machines, stapler, hole punch, filing; Being in a stationary position for long periods of time or driving; typical office/vehicle noise and/or vibration; special hazards or dangers; may encounter inclement weather.
Our office is located in downtown Oakland, about two blocks from the Oakland City Center/12th Street BART station. Within walking distance are delis, burrito and sandwich shops, Japanese, Vietnamese, Thai and Italian restaurants, barbecue, cheesesteaks, pizza, coffee shops and fast-food restaurants. Walking distance to Oakland's China town.
Special Requirements

Salary : $5,855 - $7,327
