Job Description And Duties
Under the supervision of the Supervising Workers' Compensation Consultant (SWCC), the Workers' Compensation Assistant is responsible for the payments and benefits that are paid to claimants. The Workers’ Compensation Assistant (WCA) will learn and perform analytical and technical tasks of average difficulty related to the Subsequent Injuries Benefits Trust Fund (SIBTF) processes in order to meet the needs of the SIBTF Unit in an efficient and effective manner. Additionally, they are responsible for the Tax ID information, and will work with the public to answer inquiries.

Candidates with Staff Services Analyst eligibility must meet the minimum qualifications for both Staff Services Analyst and Workers' Compensation Assistant. Working Conditions
The employee works in the Sacramento office located at:

The duties of this job are performed indoors most of the time.
The employee’s cubicle is equipped with standard office equipment. May attend meetings in designated conference rooms and be willing to travel for off-site meeting/trainings, work in a team environment and independently.
