Job Description And Duties
The Department of State Hospitals – Napa anticipates a vacancy for Labor Relations Analyst (LRA), will also consider Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA). This position functions as the hospital’s Labor Relations Coordinator and will be designated Confidential. The Hospital employs members of 14 of the State’s 21 bargaining units, with most of the hospital’s 2,500 employees working in a seven-day-a-week, 24-hour setting. This position will perform the full range of labor relations duties assigned, including attending meetings between management and employee organizations, researching, and interpreting Collective Bargaining Agreements, and providing consultation to managers on Labor Relations matters.
