OPPORTUNITY
As an Ed Partners Program Manager, you will have an opportunity to make an impact on mid-size school districts across California to improve outcomes for historically underserved students. You will work closely with a group of committed and creative professional colleagues and with district teams to improve district systems to achieve better outcomes for students.
ORGANIZATION
Ed Partners has worked with close to 100 districts over the last 14 years impacting over 1.5 million students in California. Our staff members have worked at every level of school systems and know how to partner with district administrators, principals, and teachers to remove barriers standing in the way of our students. Our goal is to help districts build sustainable improvement by working closely with them to build their own capacity to deliver better results for their students. As they build this capacity and create sustainable systems, the districts serve as proof points of what is possible in the state.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Serve as the lead for 6 to 8 district teams across the state, which requires significant travel (8-10 days / month on average).
- Develop relationships with, and a deep contextual understanding of, the districts we support in order to best meet their individual needs in service of system improvement and student outcomes.
- Work within the Ed Partners Approach to deliver on the collaboration specific Scope and Sequence and proactively problem-solve to provide differentiated and responsive coaching support in service of the established goals and sustainability.
- Meet monthly with district Leads and Teams to support sustainable improvement across the district.
- Leverage the expertise and knowledge from one district to another to deepen team learning.
- Facilitate large group and small group learning experiences for adults across a collaboration, both in person and virtual.
- Support the success and sustainability of Ed Partners and the districts it serves by working collaboratively with peers, leadership and the Ed Partners Team to achieve desired outcomes.
QUALIFICATIONS
LOCATION
Ed Partners has offices in San Francisco, Oakland, Central Valley, and Los Angeles. This position will work in a hybrid work environment that includes generous meal, travel, and lodging compensation to support districts and to collaborate in person with colleagues at one of our office locations.
