California Faucets is looking to bring on a 2nd Shift Shift PVD Precision Racker . This role is based on-site in our Huntington Beach, CA facility. The hours for this position will be Monday through Friday, full-time from 2 : 15 p.m.- 11 : 00 p.m.
The Precision Racker supports the Machine Operator by fixturing products onto designated racks to be washed and coated in the Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) vacuum coating machines. This position is responsible to properly tag, document, record and maintain production logs.
Duties of the position include the following :
- Understanding the flow of production per PVD coating sequence.
- Maintaining work orders collected and processed completely. (Maintaining traceability of customer property)
- Using extreme caution with customer products and tooling to avoid damage.
- Learning proper fixturing techniques for placing parts on racks and un-racking parts per work order
- Selecting racks according to size, shape, and number of parts to be processed
- Manually transferring racked products (weighing up to 40 pounds) to automated cleaning baskets and carousels
- Visually inspecting parts to verify finish complies with specifications.
- Responsible for completing paperwork and tags for parts.
- Maintaining the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and following prescribed safety regulations
- Performing other assignments per supervisor's direction
