California Faucets is looking to bring on a talented HR Coordinator. This role is based on site in our Huntington Beach, CA. The hours for this position will be Monday through Friday, full-time from 8 : 30 a.m.- 5 : 15 p.m.
The Human Resources Coordinator provides critical support to the Human Resources department in areas such as recruitment, onboarding, file maintenance, employee activities coordination, and a wide variety of administrative tasks to ensure the department's work flows smoothly.

As a member of the Human Resources team, you will work with other HR professionals to ensure that the employee's experience is rewarding and in line with company objectives and legal compliance. These duties will entail, in part, the following :
Clerical Support : Providing clerical support to the HR department, such as answering and assisting with departmental phone calls, filing, making copies for subpoenaed records, preparing mailing distributions, etc.; proofreading, translating (as needed), and typing documents and correspondence produced by department; preparing purchase orders for human resource office supplies; scheduling and organizing appointments within the department or for supervisor; and assisting with planning and executing of special events, such as Open Enrollment, company-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.Recordkeeping and Filing : Maintaining accurate and up-to-date human resource physical files, records, and documentation, as well as electronic records in the human resource information system (HRIS); filing all departmental paper documents; performing periodic audits of HR physical and electronic files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately; maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.Recruitment and Onboarding Support : posting available positions through Applicant Tracking System as well as on internal bulletin boards. Creating new hire personnel files and other tasks to support the hiring and onboarding process.General HR Duties : Support the HR Department with the execution of various projects and processes. Education and Experience :
A minimum of two (2) years of HR experience and / or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.Prior experience with or the ability to quickly learn payroll management, human resource information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications.Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and all Microsoft Office applications.Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and spreadsheets is required.Experience assisting in payroll processing is preferred.SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, or other relevant professional certification is a plus.Salary Description
Up to $25.00 per hour.
