Summary Description
As a Sales Intern, you will support the sales team in various activities to drive sales and enhance customer engagement. This internship will provide you with valuable exposure to the sales process and an opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting market research to identify potential clients and industry trends.
- Support the sales team in preparing presentations, proposals, and sales materials.
- Participate in client meetings and take notes to help follow up on action items.
- Help manage the sales database and ensure all information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
- Assist in organizing and coordinating sales events and webinars.
- Engage with clients via email and phone to follow up on inquiries and leads.
- Analyze sales data and prepare reports to track performance and identify opportunities.
- Continuously look for ways to improve sustainability practices in your daily work routine and seek opportunities to contribute to sustainability goals set by your organization
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with Famous software is a plus.
- Eagerness to learn and a proactive approach to tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Student or recent graduate (within 2 years) of a college or university related to Human Resources, Business Management, Organization Psychology, or related field.
- Biliterate English / Spanish
Physical Requirements
Job requires ability to sit for long periods of time to perform duties. Also required is the ability to walk around and make inquiries from other staff, management, etc. Must be able to bend or stoop down to access file cabinets including lifting of items or objects up to 10 pounds.
