Collects and disposes garbage and cleans garbage receptacles throughout the facility daily, cleans and dusts file cabinets, desks, cabinets, counters, tables, fixtures, equipment, and furniture, cleans drinking fountains and replenishes drinking cups, when necessary.

Cleans and maintains all interior walls and ceilings. Ensures lighting fixtures are clean and functioning properly. Maintains all floors by sweeping with a broom or dry/wet mop, cleans and waxes floors, vacuums and cleans rugs, and cleans windows, windowsills, walls, doors, blinds and other surfaces. Maintains restroom facilities each workday. This includes cleaning and disinfecting all sinks, countertops, urinals, toilet bowls and showers; replenishes toilet tissues, paper towels and soap dispensers; cleans and polishes metal, tile, mirrors, and other surfaces; mops floors with a disinfectant clearner; ensures the sanitary condition of all restroom facilities. Maintains the kitchen/employee break rooms ensruing the cleanliness of the stoves, refrigerators, tables, charis and other furniture and equiptment.

Working Conditions

Regular Monday through Friday, 8-hour shift workweek. Travel will be required to the Burney Resident Post.

The CHP utilizes their own Maintenance Worker certification list. Applicants must meet the minimum qualifications for the Maintenance Worker classification to be eligible to take the examination. Individuals who are eligible for a Training and Development assignment may also be considered for this position(s).
