The Public Safety Dispatcher is responsible for the dispatch of four (4) CHP Areas, answering 911, Allied Agency, and business telephone calls using the VESTA telephone system, and document information from the calls and/or field units into a Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system.

Working Conditions
Our center is located in the city of Barstow. The Barstow Dispatch Center (BDC) is on a 3/12 alternate work week schedule, with monthly shift, and regular day off (RDO) sign ups based on Seniority.
