Certification Details BLS NRP PALS Job Details A hospital in California is looking for an experienced NICU nurse for a travel contract. The right candidate will have 2 full years of experience. Job Requirements 2 full years of experience Active CA License Experience with drips : dopamine, dobutamine, versed, fentanyl 3 years of NICU experience Experience in a level 3 NICU Schedule Information 12 hour shifts starting at 7-7 : 30 Self-scheduling allowed Every other weekend required 1 major and 1 minor holiday required Unit Specific Information 1 day on the unit with a preceptor 6 hours in the nursery 6 hours on pediatrics First to float to the Nursery and pediatrics (sister unit) Additional Details BLS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), PALS required Start Date : 2 / 24 or 3 / 3 ONLY Unit : NICU Level of NICU : Level III Beds : 26 beds Nurse : Patient Ratios : 1 : 2, 1 : 1 Charge covers both NICU and peds - free of assignment
