About The Job
Our largest office in Irvine is continuing to grow. We are currently looking to hire an Associate attorney with between 2-7 years of experience defending wage and hour class action cases and / or PAGA actions in California. Hybrid work arrangements will be considered. This is a full-time position with excellent benefits and a starting salary will range from $150,000 to $215,000 depending on experience.
Opportunity
The attorney(s) that fill this position will be responsible for working directly with employer clients to provide advice and counsel on high-stakes wage and hour matters, drafting pleadings, drafting and arguing motions, drafting discovery and review and analysis of discovery responses, meaningfully participating in and contributing to overall strategy from case inception to completion, taking depositions, performing exposure analysis, attending mediations and engaging in settlement negotiations. There will also be opportunities to speak and publish on class action and PAGA issues.
Qualifications
- 2-7 years of experience in wage and hour class action defense in California.
- Successful candidates will be highly motivated, possess excellent writing, analytical, and people skills, value a team environment, and will be prepared to work independently and assume significant responsibilities.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
