Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate English Teacher to join our team.
Duties
- Teach classes.
- Write lesson plans on the board before each class.
- Incorporate Hot Topics into the daily lessons.
- Complete attendance.
- Complete Daily Teaching Records.
- Report student complaints to Student Services Manager.
- Have students complete school evaluations.
- Include a presentation project into the lesson plans according to the Grading Policy.
- Assess students at the end of each unit and complete Student Progress Reports according to
the Grading Policy.
- Attend Teacher Meetings.
- Participate in staff training sessions and in-services.
- Counsel students on classes, student services, goals, and general happiness within the
school and reports feedback to the Lead Teacher.
Qualifications
- English Teaching Communication Skills
- Experience in teaching and creating lesson plans
- Strong command of the English Language and proficiency in grammar, writing, and pronunciation
- Education in English
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- TESOL, TEFL, or CELTA certification is a plus
- Experience teaching English to non-native speakers is a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 19 – 40 per week
