Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and empathetic Medicare Insurance Sales Assistant to support a licensed Medicare Insurance Broker in providing exceptional service to clients. This role involves a mix of administrative tasks, client follow-ups, research, and appointment coordination. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and alongside the broker in various locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Communication: Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and follow up with clients to ensure their needs are met.
- Research & Plan Comparisons:
- Use Connecture to perform drug reviews and identify the top three Medicare insurance plans for clients.
- Research doctors, facilities, and their accepted insurance networks.
- Email Drafting: Prepare clear, professional emails explaining plan recommendations for clients and broker reference.
- Appointment Scheduling: Manage the broker’s calendar, set client meetings, and confirm appointments.
- Commission Reconciliation: Assist in tracking and reconciling sales commissions.
- On-the-Go Support: Willingness to travel to different locations (doctors' offices, community centers, client homes) as needed.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain client records, update databases, and ensure compliance with Medicare regulations.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills – empathetic, patient, and professional.
- Strong organizational skills – ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Tech-savvy – comfortable using CRM software, Connecture, email, and basic office tools.
- Self-motivated – able to work independently and adapt to changing schedules.
- Reliable transportation – must be willing to drive to different locations as required.
- Prior experience in insurance, healthcare, or customer service is a plus but not required.
