What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full-Time Special Education Paraprofessional / Teaching Assistant - Capitol Campus (near Sac State) (CAT IV) position at California Montessori Project?
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about working with children, with special needs. The Special Education Teaching Assistants, assists the teacher in improving the quality of educational opportunities, supervision of students, and instructional tasks, and/or works with children in small groups for push in/pull out SpED services.
Special Education Teaching Assistants commonly work from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm (sometimes 9am-3pm), Monday through Friday, 20-28 hours per week, depending on the grade level assignment. .

Minimum qualifications for application: High School graduate with 48 college units or AA degree (or ability to pass the para professional exam)
