We are seeking a Preschool Teacher to join our organization! This individual will plan and present age-appropriate activities for children. California Montessori School was established in 1976 in San Bruno, California. We provide high-quality care at CMS and believe in working closely with families to establish strong trust and communication. We have proudly served the Bay Area community for the past 47 years. Operating a small preschool of roughly 20 students in total, our center has a small and intimate atmosphere. Our teachers and staff deliver high-quality care and education daily.

The Teacher is responsible for:
- Having fun while teaching!
- Create a fun and safe learning environment.
- Develop appropriate curriculum, schedules, and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime.
- Instruct preschool-aged children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
- Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress
- Maintain the health and safety of all students
- Interacting with children in a calm, joyful, and professional manner
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time (Hiring multiple positions)
Pay: $27 - $35 per hour

Schedule:
- 8 hours full-time
- 4-6 hours part-time
Education & Qualifications:
- Early Childhood Education/Development Units- 12 Units, or equivalent.
- Passionate about working with children.
- Ability to build rapport with children.
- Positive and patient demeanor.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
License/Certification:
· 12 core units of ECE, or 24-semester units in Early Childhood Education, or BA Degree in Child Development
· Minimum 9 early childhood education units required for aides/assistants (and currently enrolled in at least a 3 unit class)
· Must have Pediatric CPR/First Aid (EMSA Approved) certification or be willing to get certified
· Mandated Reporter Training
· Experience working in a preschool environment (preferred not required)
