• Inventory Control Operator is required to coordinate all functions of Kitting and Almix processes. The ordering of ingredients, inspection of ingredients and materials, the flawless execution of kitting and batching according to customer's batch sheet and flawless execution of all data sheet entries and documentation on all paperwork. The operator's immediate customer is the VTIS Operator, or Silo Operator, and must ensure ingredient pre-kits and / or cocoa slurries are ready on demand. The Inventory Control Operator must demonstrate the ability to understand the Kitting and Almix processes, to include, but not limited to troubleshooting, COP, CIP, Kosherization, and perform necessary work-orders for assigned area / equipment. The operator must be able to order and return ingredients as per CNP SOPs, and be responsible for all GMPs, safety, and quality standards for the area.RequirementsEssential Duties & Responsibilities : Know, adhere to, and train all safe practices in all assigned work areas.Know, adhere to and ensure the Inventory Control team adheres to all quality processes.Demonstrates knowledge of food safety and GMP processes through compliant behavior and coaches team members as needed.Procure all batch sheets for production run and verify against production schedule.Order ingredients in a timely fashion from Line Supply and ensure on time delivery.Complete start-up & Shut-down check lists to ensure all equipment is safe and ready to move forward with CIP or Production use.Check for leaks throughout process of Almix equipment operation.Inventory Control Operator will engage with Redzone application activities and practices via Apple iPad, including but not limited to, Shift-to-Shifts, Batch Sheets, Safety Walks, Forum / Chat communication, Issues / Action activities, Learning Module activities, Shut-Downs / Pre-Ops, etc.Maintains accurate Redzone Data Sheet and / or Pre-Kit / Bulk / Base Batch Sheet documentation, as well as flawless execution when Pre-Kitting and / or Batching.Accurate Data Sheet entry and documentation for all products produced (i.e. material / ingredient information such as item number, reference number, Lot number, and weight, as well as item pertaining to product attribute measurements, such as pH, Brix, Solids, Viscosity, Color, etc).Maintain GMP standards and CNP Safety standards at all times.Must be able to correctly Operate and CIP Almix, lines, and document flawlessly, as required.Must understand all viable hook-ups - from Almix processor to : Silo's via chillers 6500-gallon tank Maintain all temperature, pressure, speed parameters per batch sheet.Must be able to communicate and understand the Tetra Pak Almix control panel.Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) for ingredients, kits, and batching needs.Ability to change from one unit of measure to another (i.e., gallons to pounds, percent to batch)Performs other duties and works in other areas (i.e., Gate Keeper, Cycle Counter, Warehouse worker) Education and / or Experience : Must possess oral, written, and listening skills necessary to communicate with team members, management and customers.Must be able to read and interpret batch sheetsGMP'sDetailed orientedLegible handwritingCommunication skillsMathematical skillsPerformance Measures : Perform to target the following Key Performance Measures (KPI's) : SafetyProduct AccuracyProduct Quantity AccuracyWasteOn-time deliveryInventory AccuracyAccurate documentationPhysical Activity : Regularly stand, squat, bend, kneel, reach overheadFrequently climb, lift / carry 50 lbsOccasionally sitEquipment Operated : This job operates in a warehouse production environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as Windows laptop / desktop computers and Apple iPads. This role routinely uses equipment such as scales, machine controls, stretch wrap machine, Fork Lifts, and Pallet Jacks. Additional Compensation - Bonus Potential : You will be eligible to participate in the Gehl Food & Beverage Bonus Program for non-exempt employees. Under this Program, quarterly and annual bonus payouts are based on achievement of targeted production numbers.
