HOA Property Manager
Great Opportunity for a Property Manager at an established Company!
Specializing in full-service management of HOA’s, we are seeking a versatile Property Manager in the San Francisco Presidio.
This is a full-time position Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with a salary (commensurate on experience), health care benefits, 401k and vacation. Occasional, monthly night meetings are required, and must be available to take overnight rotating emergency on-call shifts.
Our ideal candidate is dependable, proactive and enjoys multi-tasking a variety of responsibilities. You will be responsible for the management of and oversight of our properties to ensure client satisfaction, timely property and unit maintenance and upkeep of our client’s SF properties. This position requires initiative, flexibility, excellent communication and the ability to work as a team player.
Job Description:
- Manage portfolio of properties
- Primary representative of Management Company, fulfilling the company’s contractual obligations to clients as assigned, taking direction from clients (appointed officers) within Management Companies established guidelines.
- Providing excellent customer service to clients which includes - interacting and effectively communicating professionally with Board members, co-workers, vendors, clients, etc.
- Development of individual management plans and budgets designed to achieve the goals and objectives of the property owners and Management Company. Send monthly progress on financial goals.
- Controlling costs to maximize revenues
- Must be able and willing to be on call on a rotating basis, as an emergency contact person after hours and weekends, ensuring tenant/owner problems are resolved in a timely manner, and coordinate with the fire and police departments, vendors and alarm companies, etc. as needed
- Visit all properties on regular scheduled basis for walk-throughs and produce monthly reports
- Familiarizing yourself with all local and state laws regarding HOA property management
What we are looking for:
- Property Management (HOA) Experience
- Be able to attend evening (after regular hours) HOA meetings
- Must possess exceptional analytical ability, problem solving and organization skills.
- Must have great customer service skills and be an excellent communicator
- Be able to Multi-task
- Must have good understanding and experience in financials, budgeting and scheduling
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Office suite, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook and familiarity with QuickBooks
- Professional demeanor both in person and over the phone
- General understanding of major building components and systems such as heating, air condition, elevator, electrical, irrigation systems, plumbing, etc. with emphasis on maintaining quality performance and function.
- Must have personal transportation, current driver’s license and automobile insurance coverage.
- EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree required. Two years of common interest / community association management experience preferred.
