CalPERS is seeking a Financial Accountant II (Specialist) in the Financial Reporting and Accounting Services Division.
Under the general direction of the Assistant Division Chief of the Financial Accounting & Reporting Section, the Financial Accountant II (Specialist) performs complex professional financial and investment accounting and reporting tasks, which requires knowledge of financial and investment accounting principles and practices as they relate to financial reporting, investment performance reporting, and accounting activities for all funds administered by CalPERS. The FA II (Specialist) leads and provides oversight of the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) reporting related to investment items and overall financial reporting within the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR).
