The Investment Office Relations (IR) team is currently seeking a Staff Services Manager I (SSM I) that will be responsible for managing and supervising the Investment Office Relations Governance team and drive the CalPERS mission.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Drive high-quality outputs by planning, organizing, and directing unit functions while setting clear priorities, goals, and objectives. Ensure consistency and accuracy in work assignments while optimizing resources to adapt to workload fluctuations.
- Supervise and manage staff or directly perform project management, technical duties, and secretariat services to facilitate the Board of Administration, Investment Committee.
- Supervise and manage staff or directly handle content development and management of various internal/external communication channels, including web content, division meetings, materials, and webinars for the office of the Chief Investment Officer.
- Support CEA with calendar coordination and scheduling meetings with internal and external contacts. Assist CEA by maintaining Outlook inbox by reviewing, organizing, identifying correspondence requiring immediate attention, and replying as needed.

Telework Information: This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule, with up to two days of remote work and three days or more onsite, per week.
