Pharmacy Technician - Full Time (Varying Hours)
Pay Rate: $27.74 - $37.33

Responsibilities
Position Summary
Under direct supervision, assists pharmacist in providing medications to patients and performs routine duties in hospital pharmacy.
Specific Duties
- Fills medication carts under direct supervision of a pharmacist.
- Prepares IV piggyback medications under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
- Orders, unpacks and stores supplies, verifies items received against invoices and stores perishables in refrigerators.
- Delivers supplies and medications to various departments as needed.
- Fills floor stock requests.
- Produces labels via computer for requested medications.
- Compiles outdated medications through monthly inspection of Pharmacy, and returns to appropriate vendor.
- Performs Quality Improvement activities as directed.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- One to two year’s experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred.
- Current State Board of Pharmacy Registration Certificate as a Pharmacy Technician required.
