About the Job:
This part-time position is responsible for delivering exceptional extended school program services to elementary and middle school students. As a key member of our team, you will create engaging activities that enhance the regular school day experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate daily programs for up to 20 students, promoting physical, creative, social skills, and well-being.
- Organize and lead educational activities that support academic content, physical fitness, and creativity.
- Supervise students during playground activities, ensuring safety standards are met.
- Provide personal care and assistance as needed, maintaining assigned work areas in a neat and organized condition.
- Administer snacks and meals, adhering to district guidelines, and maintain accurate student records.
- Collaborate with parents/guardians to share student progress, participation, and behavior information.
- Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and conferences as directed.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; 48 semester/60 quarter college units or pass NCLB test preferred.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) essential.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR within 30 days of employment required.
- Must pass Live Scan (criminal background check via fingerprinting) and provide a clear TB test result.
Work Schedule:
- Flexible morning and afternoon shifts available, Monday through Friday.
- Availability to work either shift schedule is required.
Compensation:
$22/hour salary, plus a $200 sign-on bonus for new hires who join our team by September 18th.
