Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Accounts Receivable Administrator in the Construction Industry at California Sheet Metal in El Cajon, CA. We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a background in the construction industry and possess extensive A/R experience within this field. Familiarity with construction billing, WRAP (OCIP) insurance, and general contractors’ billing systems such as Textura, GCPay, and ProCore are essential. The Accounts Receivable Administrator will be responsible for financial tasks related to accounts receivable, invoicing, and communication with clients and internal teams.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and collections.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with project managers and other departments to ensure accurate billing and reporting.
- Maintain detailed records of all A/R transactions.
- Prepare regular reports on A/R status and performance.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in accounts receivable within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction billing processes and terminology.
- Familiarity with WRAP (OCIP) insurance programs.
- Experience with general contractors’ billing systems (Textura, GCPay, ProCore, etc.).
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
