Description of Responsibilities:
The Pharmacy Financial Services Clerk will assist the Director of Pharmacy Financial Services in maintaining accurate records of all Pharmacy Claim Invoices along with internal and external prescription audits. This role is based in the corporate headquarters.

Director of Pharmacy Financial Services
Scope of Supervision:
None
Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Financial Services Clerk include the following:
- Ensure that all specialty pharmacy claims are billed and assigned accurately
- Ensure that all compounding claims are billed and assigned accurately
- Coordinate documentation as needed for payer claim audits, internal compliance audits and subpoenas for medical records
- Provides assistance to the Operations team as needed
- Represent the pharmacy in a professional and courteous manner in all interactions with patients, providers, and peers.
- Work collaboratively with internal staff to ensure all issues are addressed in a timely manner.
- Report any misconduct, suspicious or unethical activities to the Compliance Officer.
- Additional tasks as required by management.
Salary Range:
- $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, plus monthly bonus
Qualifications and Preferred Skills:
- 1 years’ experience as a Pharmacy Technician or Medical Assistant with claim billing knowledge preferred.
- Organizational skills sufficient to maintain consistently accurate records.
- Ability to evaluate options and to make efficient decisions.
- Computer skills that include proficiency with spreadsheets and use of the internet, as well as word processing, and efficient use of the internet and e-mail.
- Candidates should have a working knowledge of pharmacy applications.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Data entry skills required.
