Community Integration Specialist
Location: Santa Clarita, CA
Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time
Pay: $25/hr - $28/hr
Available Schedule:
Full Time: 8:30am - 5:30pm Monday-Friday
Part Time: 8:30am - 12:30pm or 1:30pm - 5:30pm Monday-Friday

What You’ll Do as a Community Integration Specialist:
As a Community Integration Specialist, you will work one-on-one with adults with developmental disabilities to teach essential life skills and promote personal growth. In this role, you’ll enjoy being active in the community while helping clients achieve their individual goals. Responsibilities:
- Teach essential skills such as independent living, behavioral regulation, personal hygiene, budgeting, and other life skills tailored to each client’s needs.
- Provide hands-on, one-on-one support in a community-based setting.
- Promote positive social interactions and help clients navigate community activities.
- Collaborate with a close-knit team in a supportive and dynamic environment.
- Uphold CSC’s commitment to creating a positive and enriching experience for clients and employees alike.
What We’re Looking For:
Requirements:
- No degree required, only high school diploma
- Willingness to learn
- Communication skills and a patient, compassionate demeanor.
- Physical ability to be active and on your feet throughout the day and lift at least 45 pounds.
- Valid California driver’s license and car insurance.
- Clean driving record (no DUIs, misdemeanors, serious traffic offenses, or history of reckless driving).
- Ability to pass a background check.
Preferred Experience:
- Working with individuals with developmental disabilities, such as Autism, Down Syndrome, Fragile X, Asperger’s Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, or ADHD.
- Experience in related areas including ABA, adaptive skills training, supported living, supported employment, behavioral therapy, caregiving, special education, or similar fields.
