About the Job:
We are seeking a highly experienced Mill Manager to lead our paper production operations. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' experience in papermaking and management, and a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
The ideal candidate will have strong supervisory skills, excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, and hands-on engagement with personnel and equipment. They will also have the ability to interact effectively with employees and management, and knowledge of and experience in production operations and leading a team in a manufacturing facility.
The Mill Manager will be responsible for implementing mandatory and best practice sharing for cost savings, safety compliance, and reduced employee hazard exposure. They will also coordinate the effective utilization of production capacity, staffing, and equipment through planning, organizing, and scheduling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster and enhance the safety culture to achieve safety excellence.
- Provide operational and employee leadership to the facility, striving for quality excellence.
- Drive productivity, quality, and performance through the daily use of KPIs.
- Manage financial performance and make required changes as needed to meet business commitments.
Requirements:
