Willing to Consider for recruitment purposes: Park Maintenance Supervisor
The reporting location for this position is the Cascade Sector Office, located in Shasta, CA. This position will work under the direction of the State Park Superintendent II and will be assigned to the Cascade Sector. Park units include Castle Crags SP, McArthur-Burney Falls Memorial SP, Shasta SP, Weaverville Joss House SHP and Ahjumawi Lava Springs SP. The incumbent will travel to work at all park units within the Sector regularly, and to locations throughout the District as needed. The position will work weekend as needed.
The Park Maintenance Chief I (PMC I) directly manages and administers all programmatic aspects of the sector facility program and ensures compliance with all associated policies and regulations. Oversees sector MAXIMO program, works in cooperation with the sector Superintendent in identifying sector maintenance priorities and works with the Northern Buttes District Maintenance Chief to achieve these goals. Acts as sector liaison with all agencies that regulate or impact the facility management functions. The PMC I provides programmatic development and on-going support for all essential sector facility programs. The PMC I has responsibility for ongoing maintenance, deferred maintenance, roads and trails, equipment, and other project related funds. Responsibilities include assisting the State Park Superintendent II with project planning, tracking the sectors’ budget allocations and expenditures and for all maintenance and compliance duties assigned to the Cascade Sector.
Training and Development Assignments may be considered.
