What are the responsibilities and job description for the MANAGEMENT SERVICES TECHNICIAN position at California State Prison, Sacramento?
Under supervision of the Community Resources Manager, the Management Services Technician will perform the less difficult gathering and analysis of program information associated with the Rehabilitative Achievement Credit earning programs, Milestone Completion Credit earning programs, Inmate Activity Groups, Self-Help Programs, Innovative Grant Recipient programs, Self-Help Sponsors, and Volunteers. The Management Services Technician will assist with data and tracking of inmate group activities into Strategic Offender Management System and provide assistance and guidance to inmates while sponsoring inmate group activities.
Work hours would be primarily during third watch (afternoon/evening hours) and weekends to align with the majority of RAC programs.
Individuals who are eligible for a Training and Development assignment may also be considered for this position(s).

Candidates new to CDCR or the Division of Juvenile Justice are required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan Fingerprinting, and Tuberculosis testing prior to appointment followed by department annual Tuberculosis testing/evaluation thereafter.
