Our department encourages collaborative research and regularly publishes in top journals.Position : The department of Management at California State University, Northridge (CSUN) is seeking a tenure-track faculty member in Management at the rank of Assistant Professor.The successful candidate will teach courses on innovation management, technology management, and digital transformation, as well as within their disciplinary area in management. This includes topics such as the future of work, innovation processes, and the impact of emerging technologies on organizational structures. The candidate will explore how advancements such as artificial intelligence and remote work are reshaping organizations and industries.In addition to teaching, the position requires weekly office hours, attending faculty meetings, participation in assessment of student learning, and service to the department, college, and university. The successful candidate may be required to teach on weekdays, evenings, weekends, and / or online.Required Qualifications : Ph.D. in Management or a closely related field, awarded by the date of appointment.Excellence in or clear potential for university-level in-person teaching.Evidence of or clear potential for conducting and publishing original research on the management of innovation and technology.Preferred Qualifications : Evidence of effective engagement with a diverse student body.Experience using culturally responsive pedagogy.Relevant professional or business experience in the field.Application Deadline : Preferred application deadline is November 4, 2024 .
