Position Summary
Under the general direction of the Associate Vice President for Student Affairs / Dean of Students (AVP / DOS), the Executive Director (ED) is responsible for providing vision, leadership, and administration of Project Rebound, including the Student Center and programs focused on supporting formerly and currently incarcerated students holistically. The ED has primary responsibility for growing the Project Rebound portfolio of programs, services and initiatives centering the goals of eliminating inequity and cultivating cultures of care and belonging for formerly incarcerated students. The student population targeted by the program is culturally diverse, mostly first-generation, and historically underserved. The ED supervises and provides complete program oversight of professional and student staff members, including the Director, Outreach Coordinator, Housing Coordinator, ASC II, and 11 student assistants.
The ED is responsible for the overall Project Rebound budget, including program, stateside, auxiliary, and foundation accounts from multiple revenue streams. The ED forecasts budgetary needs, establishes priorities, allocates funds, and monitors expenses along with the support of the Director.
The ED serves as the principal investigator for internal and external grants and contracts, actively engages in the development of philanthropic fundraising and / or grant writing and reporting, and / or other development work that directly supports and enhances the score of opportunity for formerly and currently incarcerated students and staff.
The ED conducts staff performance evaluations of direct reports, and develops onboarding for newly hired direct reports.

Exempt (Not eligible for overtime compensation. This position is eligible for full benefits.)
