- Position Summary
- Multiple temporary hourly-intermittent student assistant position in College of Science STEM Grants.
- Start Date
- Position available on or after March 17, 2025 and ending on or before May 31, 2025. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.
Job Description/Duties
- Duties include but are not limited to:
- Offer peer to peer guidance and support to STEM transfer students
- Assist with delivery of support services offered through the grant, assist with data input, support workshops offered through the grant.
- Visit local community colleges and facilitate workshops and outreach activities
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Math and/or Science students
- Demonstrates great communication and leadership skills
- Students must have at least 3.0 overall GPA
- Transfer students from community college preferred
Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
- Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.
Salary Range
$16.50 per hour.
