Position Summary:
The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for accounts retention, grow business within assigned territory, and work collaboratively with the Branch manager in the orders process stage. Responsibilities include the selling of complete line of industrial, specialty and medical gases, and welding products to a diverse customer base including medical office, restaurant, manufacturing, and various industries.
Essential Duties:
· Develop and execute plans to acquire, grow, and maintain customer base
· Grow the territory business through solution selling of gases, welding products, and repair services
· Negotiate pricing, contract terms and conditions
· Maintain and demonstrate a positive attitude with associates, customers, vendors, and management
· Develop long-term relationships with strategic customers and manage the territory customer portfolio to ensure repeated purchases
· Work closely with Branch Manager to follow up on leads, assist in promoting sales and customer management
· Actively review and manage existing customer Accounts Receivable to minimize financial risk
· Complete and turn in sales-related paperwork (call reports, cylinder audits, etc.) in a timely manner
· Collaborate with different departments to ensure customer inquiries related to billing problems, cylinder balances, order status, time of delivery, etc. are promptly and courteously handled, and provide follow-up as necessary
· Meet goals and objectives set by management
· Executes other tasks assigned by sales management or executive management
Qualifications:
· 1 years of relevant welding supply and gas industry experience preferred/equivalent training
· Possess a hard work-ethic and work independently with some supervision
· Strong time-management skills
· Effective verbal communication and rapport building skills
· Goal-oriented and self-motivated/driven
· Ability to work within team environments
Salary is dependent upon overall experience. Benefits package including medical, LTD, and optional dental, vision, paid vacation, holidays, and sick days.

Pay: Up to $69,000.00 per year
