The HRIS generalist is responsible for many employee management tasks, including payroll processing. They ensure employees are paid fairly and accurately and receive benefits, They ensure the accuracy of employee data while staying up-to-date on relevant regulations. This position requires face-to-face interaction with employees. Bi-lingual speech is preferred to accommodate our workforce communication, but not necessary.

Payroll responsibilities
- Process payroll accurately and efficiently using ADP Workforce Now.
- Address payroll-related questions and concerns
- Resolve payroll discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations
Other responsibilities
- Keep physical and on-line personnel records up-to-date
- Process employee and maintain I-9 information utilizing E-Verify
- Ensure new employees have a positive orientation experience.
- Enter information for new, terminated, promoted and other employees into HRIS system
- Ensure accuracy of information HRIS system
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly HRIS reports
- Track leave of absence programs
- Monitor paid time off and attendance programs
- Monitor key performance indicators for employees
- Participate with all Safety programs
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must have 1-3 or more years of experience with on-line payroll processing (ADP Workforce Now preferred)
- Must maintain confidential information including pay, health, and disciplinary issues.
- Ability to communicate in Spanish and English is preferred
Skills
- Strong computer capabilities, including experience with HR database software and programs
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of HR procedures and policies
- Knowledge of employment-related regulations, filing, and compliance requirements
Physical Requirements:
- Bend to type, grasp objects and ability to climb stairs on a daily basis
- Bend and lift up to 50 pounds
- Work in very hot temperatures (>90 degrees F) seasonally
- Must be able to work on-site 8-10 hours per days, Monday thru Friday, including some holidays
- Ability to work in a noisy environment while being exposed to wheat flour and gluten.
