Demo Technology Associate (Part-Time Contract)

Calix provides the cloud, software platforms, systems and services required for communications service providers to simplify their businesses, excite their subscribers and grow their value.

Calix is seeking a part-time (~20 hours per week) Demo Technology Associate to work in the Calix Events Engineering Group from February 2025 through Spring 2025. This role will be responsible for taking on Event and Demo Technology projects and maintaining Calix product and equipment used for shows. This position is based on our Minneapolis Office.

Responsibilities And Duties

• Support Event and Demo Technology team
• Document changes to the equipment and Calix products used at events
• Support laptops, tablets and Calix product routers used at events
• Support current demo setups using home products on Calix routers
• Ensure our documentation represents the current state of the system and proactively bring forward issues before they become problems
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in STEM with at least one course in technology fundamentals.
• Basic understanding of networking and experience working in an environment with home routers, and power supplies.
• Comfortable using Windows and Linux.

Compensation will vary based on geographical location (see below) within the United States. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's location of residence and multiple factors, including job-related skills, experience, and education.
